When I came back from Canada I tried to keep the momentum going. I don't think these are as successful but I do like the concentrated focus on one location. I think the shapes are going the right way, but the color and especially the value is way off.

For what it's worth. I like your palette knife work so much more than your brush stuff.
I agree...does it mean I should give it up entirely? Or work harder on it?
I'd just like to see more palette knife from ya. You got something there. Maybe incorporate brush work with the knife, not the other way around, like most people do. Entirely! never.
